Allow negative balance only for HR Admins

      For all the absence plans, the requirement is employee and managers should not be able to enter an absence that will create a negative balance. However if HR enters, they can enter an absence, that allows negative balance. How can we do that?

      Hi,

       

      It seems the only way is to put a validation logic into the Global Absence Entry Validation fast formula.

      You can use GET_ACCRUAL_BALANCE function to get actual balance for a worker.

      Try to look through MOS Note: GET_ACCRUAL_BALANCE In Absence Entry Validation Fast Formula Is Not Getting Compiled (Doc ID 2132533.1)

        On the Absence Type setup, try the following:

        1. Go to the Display Features tab

        2. Under the Projected Balances, set the Insufficient balance enforcement to Not Enabled for Administrative Transactions and Enabled for ESS and MSS.

        That should take care of your requirement.
