Altraz is a medication that contains Anastrozole and is primarily used to treat early breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It belongs to a class of medications known as aromatase inhibitors, which act by reducing estrogen levels in the body. Estrogen can stimulate the growth of certain types of breast cancer, therefore lowering it can help halt or stop the cancer’s progression. Altraz Anastrozole tablets are often used as a pill once a day, with or without meals, and it is critical to take them at the same time every day for optimal results. Hot flashes, nausea, weakness, and skin rashes are some of the most common Altraz side effects. Some women may also have joint pain and weight fluctuations. If you have any bothersome or chronic side effects, you should consult your doctor. Before beginning Altraz, patients should contact their doctor if they have any liver or renal problems, as these may alter how the drug works. Altraz is not indicated for women who are still menstruating, nor for youngsters. Overall, Altraz can be a useful component of breast cancer treatment when used under expert supervision.
