I’ve been running a small hardware supply business out of Ajman for a couple of years now, and I’m starting to get really frustrated with how often I’m replacing crates that just can’t seem to handle the weight of what I’m storing. I thought I was being smart by buying the heavy-duty plastic ones, but after a few months they start showing stress cracks and I’m constantly worried one is going to give out completely and spill inventory everywhere or worse, hurt someone. I’ve been trying to find out more about durable crate solutions that are actually designed for industrial weight loads rather than just being marketed as heavy-duty when they’re really meant for lighter commercial use. I know wood is an option but I’ve avoided it because of concerns about moisture and splinters, but at this point I’m open to anything that actually lasts. For those of you in Ajman storing heavy materials what material have you found holds up best long-term, and are there specific brands or suppliers you trust for stuff that actually does what it claims?
