Have you ever run into the issue where you are Unable to access security console? Every time you try to access it you get the following error:
Schedule the Import User and Role Application Security Data job to import users and roles into the Security Console.
Unable to access security console – Solution:
In order to overcome the issue, you need to perform the following steps:
- Login as a user and run the Import User and Role Application Security Data Process
- Before you run the process, make sure that the user you are logged in as has the IT Security Manager role. Otherwise the process may result into errors.
Make sure that the scheduled process completes successfully.
Depending on the volume of data in the system this take several minutes to complete.
Once the process completes, you will then be able to successfully open the security console.
Lets hope that you will now have no issues accessing the security console.
