Batch Element Entry (B.. ‘E’..’E’) using the WebADI

Using the Batch Element Entry or the so called tongue twister ‘Bee’ …’E’..’E’ can be very powerful and can help eliminate many technical jobs (just a joke!!!you are all safe as long as Workday doesn’t eat up Oracle…Larry might be fuming at me…). So with all the sluggish start, let’s pick up the pace and help functional folks empower themselves in loading elements and yes may be even for conversion purpose. But as some smarta$$ VP once told me..”Forms are UGLYYYYY…No one likes them”, I will believe him for a moment and try to use the sophisticated way…the user’s favorite..”MICROSOFT EXCEL”. Great stuff Bill. We all love it and hence we bring in something called Web ADI. If you don’t know what I am talking about, may be google can help..or even the tiny little search box on our site.. But the first time I tried using the seeded ADI under US Super HRMS Manager..this is what I am greeted with:

That is so Oracle’ish and I am sure by now you have already tried this faced the problem…

You need to perform the following steps to make this thing work:

1. Add this function to the menu attached to your responsibility and retest the issue .

  •     Desktop Integration – Create Document’ function to Navigator.
  •     System administrator > Application > Menu
  •     User Menu Name: US SHRMS Navigator

2. Ensure that function ‘Create Document’ exists else add to the menu

3. Also ensure that the submenu: HR ADI Seeded Integrator Form Functions is also available / displayed on the
menu: US SHRMS Navigator
