Column level Role based Override in Workforce Compensation worksheet

Main column values on the worksheet can be overridden based on role by selecting an override setting. Overrides apply only to roles added. Main column settings control column access for all other roles.

For example, if Worksheet Manager wants to display Annual Discretionary Amount – Actual column in Read Only mode for Line Managers worksheet that can be achieved through below security setup.

Screen Navigation : Navigator -> Compensation -> Workforce Compensation -> Manage Plans -> Create or Search an existing plan -> Worksheets -> Go to task called Configure Worksheet Display -> Go to Configure Tab Layout -> Detail Table tab -> Go to Configure Column Properties of any column for which you want to incorporate Role-Based Overrides Annual Discretionary Amount – Actual for this case

 

 

To disable previously configured override settings select the Not enabled option

 

Apply the override setting only to users

  • With the added roles
  • Only to users who have none of the added roles
