Unable to find jobs on the position and assignment form

You have created a job in the business group but unable to find jobs on the position and assignment form. You have thoroughly checked that job is in the right business group and all other setups are accurate,but damn!!!!!!!!!!!! It still doesn’t show on your list. I am sure many of you are now struggling with this issue!!!I did too…So here is the explanation for you…

Only jobs entered in the Default HR Job Group for your Business Group will be available in other windows such as Position, Competencies, or Assignment. The only window within Oracle HRMS that can access jobs outside of the Default HR Job Group are the Supplementary Roles and the Elections window. The default job group gets automatically created within the business group once the business group is defined and the security profiles are attached to it. So if that name looks weird, don’t create a new job group, just rename it and you should have no issues.

Enjoy creating positions or assigning the jobs to the employees. Make sure they are in the correct job group.
